The aeronautical industry demands responsiveness, high standards, uncompromising safety, highly competitive services, reasonable prices and quick solutions. The Slovene Company Adria Tehnika constantly proves that it is a distinguished partner in the competition on the ground as well as in the air. Because they are always ready for take off, the company has finished testing and maintaining of the 1000th aircraft on the occasion of its 5th anniversary last week.

According to the information of the European statistical authority Eurostat, 842 Million passengers travelled with an airplane in 2013 only within the European Union. In Europe there are approximately 7,000 narrow-body aircraft, out of those there are 3,500 Airbus aircraft and approximately 200 Bombardier aircraft. In order to ensure the smooth running of the aircraft, appropriate maintenance is necessary. What kind of maintenance, when and how – the Adria Tehnika Company, which has just finished testing and maintaining of the 1000th aircraft in the history of the company, has the answers.

With its hard work a team of 210 employees shows that they are always ready for take off. The company is located at the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, right in the middle of the European air connections, just a few flying hours away from the bigger European air carriers. The Adria Tehnika Company is also a member of the European Union, the Euro area and the Schengen area.

It provides constant services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on the working area of 7,000 m2. It helps several global companies with maintenance, support and removing faults and damage. The company offers line and base maintenance, structural repairs and modifications of the aircraft. The work of the employees covers everything from testing and replacing of vital parts and components to bigger structural testing (wings, engines, chassis and body checks).

Every 6 or 12 years the aircraft is taken apart completely in order to check for corrosion, cracks, delamination or other irregularities according to the flying hours and cycles of the aircraft. The Adria Tehnika Company is certified for maintenance of the CRJ100/200/700/900/1000 aircraft and of the A320 family. The Company employs several technicians and engineers that issue the CRS certificate (Certificates of Release to Service) after the completed maintenance, when the aircraft is technically flawless.

»We constantly adapt maintenance, repairs and restoration to the changes in the aeronautical industry as well as the airlines. The reality today is that competitiveness, price and increased travel speed play a big part in the aeronautical industry. This is putting big pressure on maintenance and repair services that play a significant role in the field of security. In the Adria Tehnika Company our focus is on the quality of services and we are aware of the responsibility that our work brings.
